On October 14, Mr. Zhang Jun, Secretary-General of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA), met with Mr. Frank Rijsberman, Global Head of Policy and Public Funding of The Nature Conservancy (TNC).

Zhang Jun stated that BFA has long been committed to promoting economic integration and sustainable development in Asia, enhancing dialogue and cooperation among various parties for broad consensus. The forum places great emphasis on ecological environmental protection and green development and is willing to continuously strengthen communication and coordination with relevant stakeholders, including TNC, to jointly address global challenges.

Rijsberman highly appreciated the significant role and contribution of BFA on sustainable development. He shared TNC’s working experience in advancing nature-based solutions, protecting biodiversity, and addressing climate change. He expressed hope for strengthened dialogue and cooperation between the two sides to jointly contribute to the implementation of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
