On the evening of September 23rd, with the closing performance of "As if Snowing" staged by the Hong Kong City Contemporary Dance Company at the Guangdong Art Theatre, the 22nd Guangdong Dance Festival concluded successfully. This year's edition, under the theme "Dancing in the Bay Area, Creating the Future," featured 72 works across 10 productions in five days. Coinciding with the upcoming 15th National Games of China, the festival showcased the achievements and trends in Chinese modern dance through four major sections. It drew in artists from many regions, attracted over 2,400 in-person attendees, received 200,000 views via live streaming, and achieved more than 5 million online impressions.

In the core section "the Dance Stagecraft Gatherings", the Guangdong Modern Dance Company revived eight classic works in "Folding Time", tracing the evolution of Chinese modern dance. This production was also selected as a highlighted work for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Culture and Arts Festival. The closing piece "As if Snowing" used nature imagery and reflections on human nature to explore the beauty and fragility of life.

The "Up to Date Creative Project" section drew submissions from various regions. Five works by six creators incorporated local symbols or explored cross-media expression, pushing creative boundaries. The "Youth Dance Showcase" section received over 350 original works, of which 64 from over 20 cities were shortlisted. Presented in "theater & film" formats, the showcase highlighted youthful creativity and vitality. The new piece "Club Loneliness" by Stella & Artists from Macao explored a "local & international" model of creation.

In the "Master Class" section, domestic and international mentors such as Nir de Volff and Qiao Yang were invited. An improvisation workshop was conducted by Hong Kong's Unlock Dancing Plaza, using dialogue between body and voice to stimulate participants' perception that contributes to their growth.

9月23日晚，随着香港城市当代舞蹈团《雪落下的声音》在广东艺术剧院上演，第二十二届广东现代舞周圆满落幕。本届舞周以“湾区汇舞，艺启未来”为主题，5天内呈现10台展演共72部作品，借力第十五届全国运动会契机，通过四大板块展现中国现代舞成果与趋势，吸引多地艺术家参与，现场观众超2400人、线上直播超20万人次观看，全网曝光量破500万。

核心板块“聚舞台”中，广东现代舞团《那时此刻》复刻8部经典，浓缩中国现代舞发展轨迹，还入选大湾区文化艺术节优秀剧目；闭幕作品《雪落下的声音》以自然意象与人性思考，叩问生命之美与脆弱。

“新锐编创计划”吸引多地青年投稿，6位编创者的5部作品融入本土符号或探索跨媒介表达，拓展创作边界。“青年舞展”收到超350部原创作品，精选64部入围，覆盖20余城，以“剧场+影像”形式展现青年活力，澳门诗篇舞集新作《寂寞俱乐部》探索“本土+国际”创作模式。

“大师班”邀请Nir de Volff、乔杨等国内外导师，即兴工作坊由香港不加锁舞踊馆参与，以身体与声音对话激发学员感知，助力舞者成长。
