Smart logistics is a typical application of big data in logistics. It integrates big data, the Internet of Things, and cloud computing to give logistics systems human - like intelligence. It can optimize and allocate logistics resources, boosting system efficiency significantly.

智能物流不仅能够实时监控货物的位置和状态,还能根据交通状况、天气变化等多种因素,自动规划最佳运输路线,减少运输时间和成本。在仓储管理方面,智能物流系统可以自动调整货物的存储位置,提高仓库空间利用率,实现货物的快速出入库。

Smart logistics not only enables real - time monitoring of cargo location and status but also automatically plans optimal routes considering traffic, weather, etc., reducing transport time and costs. In warehousing, it adjusts storage positions automatically, improving space utilization and enabling fast cargo handling.

IBM first introduced smart logistics in its 2010 report "The Smarter Future Supply Chain". Through global supply chain manager surveys, it identified five key challenges: cost control, visibility, risk management, rising consumer demands, and globalization.

To address these, IBM proposed the "smart supply chain" concept, emphasizing enhancing efficiency and reliability through intelligent means. The smart supply chain has three features: advanced, where data from devices enables dynamic, visual, automatic management; interconnected, where the whole supply chain's networking enables overall planning; and intelligent, where the supply chain can learn, predict, and make automatic decisions.

智能物流的发展经历了自动化、信息化和网络化3个阶段。自动化阶段实现了物流环节的自动化操作;信息化阶段实现了现场信息的自动获取与判断;网络化阶段则将采集的信息通过网络传输到数据中心,进行实时动态调整。随着技术的不断进步,智能物流正朝着更加智能化、高效化的方向发展,为物流行业带来更多的机遇和挑战。

Smart logistics has evolved through three stages: automation, information, and networking. Automation achieved automatic logistics operations; the information stage enabled automatic on - site information acquisition and judgment; and networking transmitted collected information to data centers for real - time adjustments. With technological progress, smart logistics is moving towards greater intelligence and efficiency, offering more opportunities and challenges to the logistics industry.
