芮迈斯已顺利完成了外交官实习，并由安博宁大使主持宣誓就职。

Max Recollecte has gracefully completed his internship as a diplomat and was sworn in by Ambassador Bruno Angelet.

在庄严宣誓“我宣誓效忠国王、宪法及比利时人民的法律”并领取证书后，芮迈斯正式接受所有法规约束，获得终身任命。

更巧的是，当逢天正好是芮迈斯生日！使馆许多工作人员共同见证了这位年轻外交官职业生涯的非凡时刻，并分享了超大的蛋糕，为他庆生。

Taking the diplomatic and consular oath is the last step one must achieve after taking the diplomatic exam, going through serious training in Belgium, and then being posted abroad for a one-year internship. After having previously worked for the European External Action Service, Max has since his arrival in Beijing been in charge of the Public diplomacy section of the embassy (and will still be for the next few years!).

After the formal oath-taking of "I swear allegiance to the King, to the constitution, and to the laws of the Belgian people" and after receiving his certificate, Max hereby accepts all the rules of the statute and is definitively appointed.

Adding more joy to the day, it was also Max's birthday! Most staff members of the Embassy witnessed this exceptional moment in the young diplomat's career and celebrated his birthday with a big cake.

We all wish Max a successful and fulfilling career!
