Designed as a comprehensive, one-stop service hub for foreign residents, the center features four key areas: an information display zone, a service processing area, a multifunctional section, and a leisure and discussion space. Offering 21 services covering immigration affairs, government procedures, and daily life integration, the center aims to provide foreign nationals with seamless support in business operations, trade and investment, and travel in Taicang. A professional English-speaking team and a 24-hour AI-powered service assistant ensure a smooth experience for users, reinforcing Taicang’s commitment to an international-friendly environment.

"This center is not only a service hub for foreign nationals but also a showcase of Taicang’s city image. In the future, it will serve as a meeting space for global business engagements," said Chen Yitian, Deputy Director of the Taicang New Residents Affairs Center. The center integrates historical and cultural exhibitions, open service counters, and training and cultural exchange spaces, offering foreign nationals insights into Taicang’s unique culture and its journey of internationalization.

Additionally, the center has introduced the "Hi Taicang Card," which provides access to various aspects of daily life, including housing, dining, transportation, and entertainment—essentially making life in Taicang hassle-free. Notably, the "City Honor Card" offers even greater privileges, such as access to business-class waiting lounges at high-speed rail stations, priority medical services, invitations to municipal meetings, and tailored economic insights. This shift from "living convenience" to "governance participation" marks a transformation in the role of foreign talents, allowing them to become active contributors to the city’s development.
