On what the U.S. President Donald Trump has dubbed "Liberation Day," he announced a universal "baseline" 10% tariff on all imports into the U.S., with different countries facing even higher tariffs. In an interview with SFC, Harvey Dzodin, the former legal advisor in the Carter Administration shared his thought that the tariffs are going to result in hyperinflation, stagflation and to hurt the American public and everybody else. He considered that the tariffs are to benefit a certain elite in America. "And the people who voted for Trump now have voter remorse. They're not going to get what they wanted. They're getting exactly the opposite of that."
