Mao Weiming, deputy secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and governor of Hunan Province, led a Hunan delegation on a visit to Germany from March 30 to April 2, 2025. This visit aimed to thoroughly implement the spirit of President Xi Jinping's important speech made during his meeting with representatives of the international business communities; promote the implementation of the important consensus reached by the heads of State of the two countries; broaden the international perspective and deepen the pragmatic cooperation; serve the country's overall diplomacy with local foreign affairs; and, work together to achieve a better future through mutual learning and reinforcement.

Qu Hai, secretary general of the provincial government, accompanied him on the visit.

The delegation also called on the Chinese Consulate General in Frankfurt. Accompanied by the Chinese Consul General in Hamburg, they visited the Hannover Messe 2025.
