一、so...that... 的结构是 so + adj./adv. + that 从句。

例如： The book is so interesting that I read it twice.

这里 so 修饰形容词 interesting。

注意 so 后面不能直接加名词，除非有 many, much, few, little 这些词，比如 “so many books”。

例如：

The math problem is so hard that I can’t solve it.

这道数学题太难了，我解不出来。

She ran so fast that no one could catch her.

她跑得太快，没人能追上她。

特殊用法：so + many/much/few/little表数量+ 名词

There are so many books in the library that I don’t know which to read.

图书馆里书太多，我不知道读哪本。

二、such...that...，结构是 such + (a/an) + adj. + 名词 + that 从句。

例如 ：It's such a beautiful day that we want to go out.

这里 such 修饰名词 day。如果名词是复数或不可数，不需要 a/an，比如 “such delicious food”。

例如：

It’s such a cute dog that everyone wants to pet it.

这只狗太可爱了，大家都想摸它。

They are such interesting stories that we read them twice.

这些故事太有趣了，我们读了两遍。

不可数名词：

He has such great patience that he can teach kids for hours.

注意：

1、so 不能直接加名词，避免常见错误，如 *“He is so a good student” 应该是 “such a good student” 或 “so good a student”。
