SGBCC大会主席，圣加仑州立医院（Kantonsspital St.Gallen）Beat Thürlimann教授主持了颁奖仪式。他表示，本届SGBCC接收壁报众多，最初仅设置了5个最佳壁报奖，后因优秀研究难以取舍，故将最佳壁报奖增至7个。他对获奖嘉宾表示祝贺并为之颁奖。
