At 6:00am on August 5th, the Guangzhou Huadu Dream Team, returned home after competing at the 2025 World Jump Rope Championships as part of China's national rope skipping team. The team traveled to Kawasaki, Japan on July 25th and won a total of 11 gold, 4 silver, and 3 bronze medals, breaking two world records and matching another.
In a historic milestone, the Dream Team claimed the Chinese mainland's first-ever men's team all-around championship at the World Jump Rope Championships. Additionally, ten team members won gold in their debut appearances. To date, the team has trained 52 world champions and broken 20 world records.
Behind the impressive results lie countless days and nights of dedication and hard work. According to Lai Xuanzhi, principal of Huadong School and head of the delegation, although the coaches live in Huadu, the nine-member coaching team has not returned home for nearly two months since the start of intensive training. The athletes practiced tirelessly day and night, overcoming one technical challenge after another.
The World Jump Rope Championships, organized by the International Jump Rope Union, is a top-tier international competition. It is the most competitive and influential rope skipping competition in the world and is held every two years. The 2025 championships took place from July 25th to August 4th in Kawasaki, Japan. A total of 124 athletes from China's national rope skipping team participated in the International Open Tournament, bringing home 137 medals—70 golds, 40 silvers, and 27 bronzes—and broke 15 world records while tying one.

8月5日凌晨6点，参加2025世界跳绳锦标赛的中国跳绳队广州花都跳绳梦之队回到了家乡。花都跳绳梦之队于7月25日奔赴日本川崎参赛，累计斩获11金4银3铜，打破2次世界纪录、追平1次世界纪录。
更具里程碑意义的是，梦之队夺得了中国内地历史上第一个世界跳绳锦标赛男子团体全能冠军。同时，有10人首次出道即夺冠，累计培养世界冠军52名、打破20项世界纪录。
骄人成绩的背后，是无数个日夜的辛苦与汗水。本次参赛领队、花东学校校长赖宣治表示，尽管家在花都，但自集训以来，教练团队的9名教练已经有近两个月没有回家了。队员们更是日以继夜地练习，攻克了一个又一个技术难题。
据了解，世界跳绳锦标赛是由国际跳绳联合会主办的国际A类赛事，是目前世界范围内竞技水平最高、影响力最大的跳绳赛事，每两年举办一次。2025年世界跳绳锦标赛系列赛于7月25日—8月4日在日本川崎举行，中国跳绳国家队有124人参与国际跳绳公开赛，获得70金40银27铜合计137枚奖牌，15次打破、1次追平世界纪录。
