During the “Two Sessions” of 2025, Teo Siong Seng, the Chairman of the Internationalisation Action Committee (IAC) of the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) has shared his insights with SFC journalist on the Greater Bay Area (GBA).

He stated that the Greater Bay Area has a lot of diversity such as the manufacturing bases of Foshan and Dongguan, or the tourism destination of Huizhou. “More important is they are working together. It will become a very powerful and effective economic region in Southern China.”

For the future, he pointed out that there are more areas that Singapore and the GBA can cooperate in from shipping logistics to digitalization.
