“Guangdong has long been at the forefront of China's reform and opening up.” Loh Wee Keng , the president of the Malaysian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China has shared his impressions on Guangdong with SFC journalist during the “Two Sessions” 2025.

He indicated that despite national borders, free trade frameworks have facilitated seamless interactions between the people and businesses of both countries. Many Malaysian companies have leveraged the Guangdong market as a gateway to expand across China, making Guangdong home to the largest concentration of Malaysian small and medium-sized enterprises.
