THE Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has been accelerating its integrated development. In this context, on April 16, 2024, the Ministry of Education officially approved the establishment of City University of Hong Kong (Dongguan), the fourth collaborative educational venture between the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong, with an independent legal identity.

港城大（东莞）选址于松山湖科学城。这里也是大湾区综合性国家科学中心先行启动区，汇聚了华为、中国散裂中子源等众多高新技术企业与科研机构，形成了以新一代信息技术、高端装备制造为主导的现代化产业集群，为产学研协同发展搭建了天然平台。

此外，松山湖环境优美，交通便利，营造出舒适的学习工作环境，同时让学校能够快速联通大湾区各核心城市，实现教育与产业资源的高效流动共享。

依托香港城市大学的创新资源，港城大（东莞）不仅承载着深化粤港教育合作的使命，更将在未来成为推动东莞产业转型的新引擎，为大湾区高质量发展注入强劲动能。

Utilizing the innovative resources of City University of Hong Kong, City University of Hong Kong (Dongguan) undertakes the mission of deepening education cooperation between Guangdong and Hong Kong. 教研合一两校一质创新无限

在2025年QS世界大学排名中，香港城市大学位列全球第62名，同时也是亚洲第10名，香港第3名。此外，该校在2024年和2025年连续两年被泰晤士高等教育（THE）评为 “全球最国际化大学”。

以“教研合一、两校一质、创新无限”为办学理念，港城大（东莞）致力于将港城大先进的管理经验、国际化的办学理念、优秀的科研能力和创新的教学方法等优势和资源引入内地。

Led by the educational philosophies of "Integration of Teaching and Research, Consistency in Academic Excellence, and Innovating into the Future," CityUHK (DG) is committed to bringing CityUHK's strengths and resources to the Chinese mainland, including its advanced management experience, international educational concepts, outstanding research capabilities, and innovative teaching methods.

港城大（东莞）副校长李娟表示，“两校一质”即港城莞与港城大的教学质量和学术标准保持一致，这是两校关联的核心所在。

成立一年多以来，港城莞80％的师资力量来自港城大，并按照港城大的学术标准聘请全球精英。港城莞的所有课程均采用英语教授，符合学位授予资格的港城莞毕业生将同时获得港城大的学位。

Since the university was established over a year ago, 80 percent of its faculty are from CityUHK, while it recruits talents worldwide in accordance with CityUHK's academic standards. All courses at CityUHK (DG) are delivered in English, and graduates who meet the degree-granting requirements at CityUHK (DG) will receive a degree from CityUHK.

此外，李娟强调说，港城莞注重教学的启发性、互动性与创新性，通过学业成绩、语言能力、国际视野、实践活动、社区参与等多维度培养学生的就业力，帮助学生为未来的职业发展做好准备。

聚焦前沿科技 以兴趣锚定未来

港城大（东莞）目前开设有计算机科学与技术、智能制造工程、材料科学与工程、能源与动力工程四大本科专业，和电脑科学、电子资讯工程学、生物医学工程、材料工程及纳米科技、工程管理学、商务资讯系统、数据科学7个研究生专业，旨在响应国家“新工科”教育改革与大湾区产业升级需求。

CityUHK(DG) currently offers four undergraduate programs including computer science and technology, intelligent manufacturing engineering, materials science and engineering, and energy and power engineering, as well as seven graduate programs including computer science, electronic information engineering, biomedical engineering, materials engineering and nanotechnology, engineering management, business information systems, and data science. These programs are designed to respond to the country's "new engineering discipline" education reform and the industrial upgrade of the Greater Bay Area.

以智能制造工程为例，该专业融合了智能制造系统、创新工艺设计与自动化、先进制造技术、系统建模与优化以及质量与可靠性工程等核心领域的基础知识与技能。作为跨学科项目，其目标在于培养学生运用前沿工程知识、计算技术、实验方法和分析手段，帮助技术型企业及组织进行规划、设计和优化。

计算机科学与技术专业则注重计算机科学理论、实践开发能力和软件工程管理知识体系的有机结合。在夯实专业基础的同时，学生可选择人工智能、数据科学、信息安全、多媒体计算、软件工程或项目管理等方向进行深入学习。

值得一提的是，与传统高校入学即定专业的模式不同，港城大（东莞）采用“大类培养+灵活转专业”模式。

学生在大一期间可以通过通识课程、跨学科讲座及实践项目了解各专业的核心内容与发展前景，根据自身兴趣，综合考量选择专业。在第二学年两学期的期末考试成绩发布后，学校还将提供两次调整专业方向的机会。这种机制下，学生将获得更弹性的发展空间，真正实现“以兴趣锚定未来”。

科研创新驱动赋能职业发展

学术研究之外，港城大（东莞）更注重产学研的深度融合。学校已与包括松山湖材料实验室、中国散裂中子源、中国移动、华为、苹果在内的约30家科研机构和企业建立了合作关系。

In addition to academic research, CityUHK (DG) places a strong emphasis on the deep integration of industry, acedemia and research. It has established partnerships with about 30 research institutions and companies, including the Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory, the China Spallation Neutron Source, China Mobile and Apple.

这种紧密的校企联动机制，为学生搭建了高水平实践平台，让他们能够在真实的产业环境中锤炼专业技能。同时，受益于香港特区政府政策，港城莞学生还可以申请香港的实习和工作机会。

Such a close collaboration between the university and enterprises provides students with high-level practical platforms, allowing them to hone their professional skills in a real industrial environment. Furthermore, benefiting from the policies of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government, students at CityUHK(DG) can apply for internship and job opportunities in Hong Kong.

为激发学生创新活力、鼓励学生创业实践，港城大推出了“HK Tech 300”创新创业计划，为优秀项目提供高达百万港元的天使投资和综合服务。在去年9月举办的HK Tech 300全国创新创业千万大赛”第二届颁奖典礼上，港城大（东莞）科技创新中心正式揭牌成立。中心将支持HK Tech 300的初创项目落地东莞，打造集创赛承办、概念验证、项目孵化于一体的莞港科创孵化平台。

港城大（东莞）还在不断拓展国际化人才培养渠道，为学生提供境外交流、交换和学习的机会。

在校学生目前可申请参与英国伦敦大学学院、荷兰乌特勒支大学、美国旧金山州立大学、香港城市大学等学校的交流项目，通过体验国际前沿的教学模式，提升专业素养，培养全球化视野，为未来的学术和职业发展奠定基础。
