三明治英文短故事（Short Story/Memoir) 工作坊已经开办两期了。很多学员在这里完成了他们第一篇完整的英文文学作品。工作坊导师，来自美国，毕业于英国第一个创意写作项目UEA，目前人还在英国Norwich的Julia Hollingsworth 分享了她当导师陪伴写作者写下他们故事的感想：

The Sanminghzi Short Story Workshop is something I wish I had access to when I first started writing. The daily practice of sharing your work with others not only offers accountability but a clear path to get from initial ideas to the final draft.

As a tutor I have been able to read a wide range of genres from high fantasy fairytales to nonfiction memoir. The workshop is an excellent place for any writer, whether you are just beginning your practice or polishing an essay you have worked on for years. I have tutored students who signed up for the purpose of improving their English, and those who were in the process of applying for a Masters in Creative Writing. Writers are encouraged to explore topics big and small, from politics and religion to interpersonal relationships between families and friends.

The work of students in the workshop has allowed me to get to know people from all over the world, and encourages me in my own writing practice.

UEA文学、戏剧与创意写作学院是英国创意写作教学的先驱，至今已有超过50年的办学历史。1970年，该学院正式设立了第一个创意写作硕士课程（MA in Creative Writing），并于1987 年设立了第一个创意和批判性写作博士课程（PhD in Creative and Critical Writing）。值得一提的是，2017年的诺贝尔文学奖得主石黑一雄和英国最高文学奖Booker Prize的获奖者兼名著《赎罪》的原作者Ian McEwan等一众文豪均诞生于该学院，其中石黑一雄的处女作《远山淡影》就在就读UEA期间创作而成。点击这里阅读三明治创始人接受UEA校方采访谈他在UEA的就读感受。
