A "Celebrating the Spring Festival with Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH)" event was recently held in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. The list of 2024 National ICH Characteristic Tourist Routes was released at the event. Hunan's route of "Xiaoxiang Land of Blessings—ICH Root-Seeking Journey" made the list.

This route stretches through Zhuzhou's Yanling, Hengyang's Nanyue, Hengyang's Leiyang, Chenzhou's Anren and Jiahe, and Yongzhou's Ningyuan, Jianghua and Jiangyong. Along the route, tourists can experience 26 national-level ICH items, including the Emperor Yan Memorial Ceremony; Hengshan Mountain Temple Fair; Anren Ganfenshe Ritual to Commemorate Shennong; Jiahe Bridal Song; Emperor Shun Memorial Ceremony in Ningyuan; and, Jianghua Panwang Festival. This route also connects a number of characteristic tourist attractions such as the Mausoleum of Emperor Shun, Hengshan Mountain (Nanyue), Anren Paddy Field Park, Jiahe National Forest Park, Ningyuan Confucius Temple, and Jianghua Yao Autonomous County.
