On the afternoon of June 6th, the 2025 Guangdong Lychee Festival took place at Haixinsha Square in Guangzhou, featuring premium lychees from ten major production areas, including Guangzhou and Shenzhen.
The event brought together cross-industry efforts to facilitate efficient integration between lychee production and sales, expanding both domestic and international markets. Guided by the Publicity Department of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee and organized by multiple departments, the event drew visitors who marveled at Guangdong's diverse lychee varieties. Production areas like Maoming and Zhuhai presented classic and specialty varieties, such as the "Xiantao Lychee," weighing over 100 grams per fruit, drawing significant attention.
Online influencers were a highlight of the event. Top streamers Yang Runxin and Shu Ming were honored as "2025 Guangdong Premium Fruit Promotion Ambassadors," while influencers like Dong Yuhui offered support online. In addition, 25 other influencers received the title of "Promotion Officer." Tens of thousands of influencers and village streamers formed the "Lychee Promotion Team," leveraging online traffic to boost sales. A cultural collaboration with the film "The Litchi Road" also added cultural depth to the event.
Guangdong stands as China's core lychee production area, with a cultivation area of approximately 267,000 hectares. The province accounts for over half of China's lychee production and one-third globally, supporting an entire industry chain that employs around 1.8 million people. Twelve enterprises, including Meituan and SF Express, were recognized as "Marketing Pioneer" and unveiled brand strategies to accelerate the global distribution of fresh lychees. The first batch of direct sourcing and supply bases was also announced, further promoting the integration of production and sales.
More than a feast for the taste buds, the 2025 Guangdong Lychee Festival also served as a into the thriving modernization and international reach of Guangdong's lychee industry.

6日下午,“6·6给‘荔’节——广东荔枝全球品鲜嘉年华”在广州海心沙广场举行,广州、深圳等10大荔枝主产区携各地优质荔枝亮相。
活动集聚跨界力量,推动荔枝产销精准对接、拓展国内外市场。活动由广东省委宣传部指导,多部门主办。现场,游客感叹广东荔枝品种丰富,茂名、珠海等产区带来经典及特色品种,如单颗超100克的“仙桃荔”吸引众人打卡。
网络达人成亮点,头部主播杨润心、舒明获颁“2025广东佳果推荐大使”,董宇辉等线上助力,25位达人获授“推荐官”。广东凝聚千万达人、村播组成“助荔天团”,以流量促销量。电影《长安的荔枝》惊喜联动,赋予文化内涵。
广东作为中国荔枝核心产区,种植面积约400万亩,产销量超全国半数、全球三分之一,全产业链支撑180万从业人员。美团、顺丰等12家企业获“营销先锋”,发布品牌战略助力荔枝“鲜”速全球化。首批直采直供基地同步发布,推进产销对接。
这场嘉年华不仅是味蕾狂欢,更是展示窗口,彰显广东荔枝产业现代化、国际化的蓬勃活力。
