动词wait通常是不及物的,后面用for接宾语。
但可能wait太常用,于是像wait you turn这样的用法也出现了,如

不过《剑桥高级学者辞典》和《朗文当代英语辞典》都把wait your turn列为习惯用语,所以只能对它死记硬背了。
《牛津高级学者辞典》对【例句1】也有心虚的括弧。括弧内是 wait until your turn comes,即“等着直到该到你了”。按这个心虚的括弧理解,your turn相当于状语。若是这样,则wait依旧可视为不及物动词。
