2025年5月20日上午，北京科学中心与马来西亚发明与设计协会进行线上座谈。此次会议邀请了马来西亚发明与设计协会主席Tan Sri Augustine Ong教授、协会荣誉秘书Leong Wai Yie教授、协会委员会成员Lee Chien Sing教授、专项项目主管Jess Hon女士，以及北京科学中心相关业务部门的代表共同参与。本次会议旨在与马来西亚发明与设计协会交流彼此有关科学传播方面的相关工作经验，建立互通互联的良好关系。

On the morning of May 20, 2025, an online discussion was held between Beijing Science Center and Malaysian Invention and Design Society (MINDS). The meeting invited Tan Sri Augustine Ong, President of MINDS, Prof. Leong Wai Yie, Honorary Secretary of MINDS, Prof. Lee Chien Sing, MINDS EXCO Committee, Ms. Jess Hon, Special Projects Officer, along with representatives from relevant departments of Beijing Science Center to participate. The purpose of this online discussion was to exchange the working experiences of science popularization with Malaysian Invention and Design Society and establish a good relationship of mutual communication and connection.

会上，Tan Sri Augustine Ong教授介绍了马来西亚发明与设计协会的整体情况及亮点工作，涵盖了马来西亚发明与设计协会的基本情况、使命目标、主要活动和未来计划。随后，北京科学中心相关负责人详细介绍了北京科学中心的基本情况，包括展览展示、科学教育、品牌活动、国际交流和媒体传播等方面的内容。

During the meeting, Tan Sri Augustine Ong presented an overview and introduced the highlights of Malaysian Invention and Design Society, covering its basic information, mission & objectives, key events and further plans. Following that, the project manager from Beijing Science Center presented a detailed overview of Beijing Science Center, covering its exhibition and display, science education, brand activities, international exchanges, and media communication, etc.

此外，双方围绕马来西亚发明与设计协会的国际合作模式、主要活动以及会议等潜在合作方向进行了深入探讨和交流。Tan Sri Augustine Ong教授对北京科学中心的国际交流工作表现出浓厚兴趣，并对中心各项工作的成果给予高度认可。他表示，非常愿意进一步加深与北京科学中心的合作，共同推动科普资源的互联互通。

Furthermore, both sides conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on potential areas of collaboration, including international cooperation, key events and conventions of Malaysian Invention and Design Society. Tan Sri Augustine Ong expressed a keen interest in the international exchange efforts of Beijing Science Center and highly recognized the various endeavors undertaken by Beijing Science Center, expressing his willingness to deepen exchanges and cooperation with the Center and jointly promote the interconnection of science popularization resources.
