Ladies and gentlemen,Good morning!

I am Zhang Lian,a normal college student and honored to share my greatest achievement with you.

When it comes to the greatest achievement, people always think of money,fame and so on. As for me, it must be overcoming my weakness on my own.

When I was young, it was challenging for me to socialize with new people. When I was communicating with new friends, I would be nervous and unable to express myself clearly. I put it down to the fact that I find it more comfortable to stay alone and concentrate on cartoons and study. Gradually I come to realize that I have lost many chances due to the poor socializing. I made up my mind to step out my comfortable zone and make positive changes bit by bit. At first,I chatted with like-minded peers on the internet to practice my communicating skills .Later,I am able to talk with new friends forwardly and take an active part in the debate competitions.Now I am a people person(社牛) and can make friends with anyone I meet in a few seconds.

Maybe this challenge is easy for you to deal with.But for me ,it means I have attempted to face it and solve it and I am sure that I will be more confident to overcome unknown things in the future.

As the saying goes “You have a choice. You can either be a passive victim of circumstance or you can be the active hero of your own life. Action is the antidote to apathy and cynicism and despair”.
