Like 的同义替换

1. Enjoy, love

2. Be(really) into…

3. Be crazy about …

4. Be obsessed with …

5. Be a fan of …

Like用法二：表示像

Be like :

He is like his father.

他像他的父亲。(这里更多指的是性格， 行为方面的像)

如果要说长得像， 可以用 look like

He looks like his father "Like father , like son”.

有其父必有其子。

This birthday cake is so tall thatit lookslike a pyramid.

这个蛋糕真高，像个金字塔。

Would like sth/to do sth

feel like doing sth 想要做某事

I would like a cup ofcoffee.

我想来一杯咖啡。

我想上厕所。

Like用法四：表示样子

例1 :

I have nevermet the person. Whatis he/shelike?

我从来没见过这个人，他是怎么样的一个人?

例2:

去西餐店吃饭，点了一份牛排，服务员问：

How would you like your steak ?

需要几分熟？

可以回答 ：

I would like my steak rare /medium /welldone.

Like用法五：填充词(filler words )

作用 ：fill the gap between words and sentences

填充单词与句子间的空白，没事实际意思，一般在 说话时犹豫和停顿时使用，母语者常用(美式)

有的时候也可以理解成about

例：It took me like four hours to get there.

花了我差不多4个小时才到那里。

Like用法六：表示说，或是心说（心想）

在口语中，he said… /she said

可以替换成he was like.… /she was like…

他( 她 ) 说了 …

有的时候也可以理解成“心想” -当时人物的心理活动(主要看语境)

The other day,as I was walking on the street,a stranger came up to me and said hi, and Iwas like, “who is this guy? Do l know him?”
