The 21st China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) is set to open on May 22nd at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center. This year's event adopts a more open approach to embrace the global community, featuring 305 overseas exhibitors from 65 countries and regions. A total of 35,000 professional visitors from 110 countries and regions will attend both online and offline, with international exhibitors accounting for 20% of the total.

The ICIF continues to promote the global reach of Chinese culture. This year's edition introduces new zones dedicated to cultural export and youth creative project incubation, among others, while also strengthening cooperation with more than 20 leading international exhibition organizations to help Chinese cultural products expand into global markets.

During last year's fair, the "three new drivers" of cultural export — online literature, online games, and short dramas — delivered a remarkable performance. Short drama platform Crazy Maple Studio broke into overseas markets with its product "ReelShort." "In Shenzhen, at the ICIF, we are able to quickly capture industry trends and validate our products and business models in advance," said Nan Yapeng, General Manager of the company.

Content export agency Shenzhen YoyWow also connected with more than 40 domestic cultural and creative companies during the fair, while establishing ties with overseas delegations from South Korea, Thailand, India, and other countries. The ICIF is steadily transforming from "China's largest cultural exhibition" into a "leading global cultural industry exhibition."

第二十一届中国(深圳)国际文化产业博览交易会将于5月22日在深圳国际会展中心开幕。今年,文博会以更开放的姿态拥抱世界:来自65个国家和地区的305家海外展商参展,110个国家和地区的3.5万名海外专业观众线上线下共赴盛会,国际参展比例达20%。

文博会持续推动“文化出海”,今年新增文化出海展区、青年文创项目孵化展区等,并加强与20多家国际头部展览机构的合作,助力中国文化产品走向全球市场。

“文博会搭建的不仅是展台,更是展商品牌价值跃升的黄金赛道。”深圳国际文化产业博览交易会有限公司总经理方石玉表示,本届展会将推出22项促交易举措,从场景、通路、服务三方面为参展企业提供全链条支持。

去年展会期间,网文、网游、短剧等“文化出海新三样”表现亮眼。短剧平台Crazy Maple Studio凭借“ReelShort”打入海外市场。公司总经理南亚鹏说:“在深圳、在文博会,我们能迅速捕捉行业趋势,提前验证产品和商业模式。”

内容出海机构雅文传播也在展会中对接了40多家国内文创企业,并与韩国、泰国、印度等海外展团建立联系。文博会正逐步从“中国文化产业第一展”迈向“国际文化产业头部展”。
