You got me at the first half ngl. But yeah, SG is far behind compare to the T2 city in China. When to Dongguan this July for a business trip. This is a typical T2 city in China: industrialize, near T1 city Shenzheng, etc. I gotta say all the infrastructure in DG outclassed SG. The road full of cars but traffic wasn’t bad. They have a functional subway for fuck sake. Their biggest mall is bigger than any mall in SG, probably VN as well. And this is just a T2, T1 city in China is an another league.

Went to China for the first time last year and it was bigger than everything I had heard about it even though I was expecting very highly and has travelled to Malaysia, Singapore and Australia. Never seen a city where literally every building is a skyscraper before and it expanded to the horizon on all sides, like with more advanced technologies T1 Cities in China is literally the cities in those sci-fi worlds. It makes you feel both extremely small, invisible and lonely, like you are just an ant seeing those giant structures stretching endlessly to the horizon. I honestly was lost for word the first time walking along the street of Shanghai, being there in person is an entirely different feeling than watching it in a video, you just feel so small.
