On August 24th, the 2025 Esports World Cup (EWC) concluded. Team Falcons lifted the Club Championship trophy and claimed a prize of 7 million US dollars. Meanwhile, Chinese clubs secured three spots in the top ten of the Club Championship rankings and achieved their best-ever performance with a total of five championship titles and five runner-up finishes.
From July 7th to August 24th, top esports teams from around the world competed across 24 popular titles. The total prize pool exceeded 70 million US dollars, setting a record high in esports history. Of this, 27 million US dollars was allocated to the Club Championship, distributed among the top 24 clubs. More than 20 Chinese esports clubs took part in the EWC, marking the largest-ever participation of Chinese clubs in an international esports event.
During the tournament, the EWC recorded more than 750 million online views worldwide, a 50% increase compared with last year. The event also attracted 3 million visitors to Boulevard Riyadh City, surpassing the 2.6 million recorded last summer.
Against the backdrop of the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Saudi Arabia, Tencent Esports and the Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) jointly hosted the "China-Saudi Esports Festival & Activation of EWC China Tour" in both Beijing and Riyadh during the 2025 EWC. The event used esports as a medium to build a bridge of exchange for young people from both countries.

8月24日，2025电竞世界杯（EWC）闭幕。Team Falcons 俱乐部捧起俱乐部冠军奖杯，并获得700万美元大奖。与此同时，中国俱乐部在俱乐部锦标赛前十排名中，占据3个名额，并以总计5个冠军、5个亚军，创造历史最佳成绩。
从7月7日至8月24日，来自世界各地的电竞豪强在24个热门项目中展开角逐。赛事总奖金池超过7000万美元——创下电子竞技史上最高奖金纪录——其中包括为俱乐部锦标赛设置的2700万美元奖金，分配给了排名前24位的俱乐部。超过20家中国电竞俱乐部参与此次电竞世界杯，创下有史以来中国电竞俱乐部出征的最大规模。
赛事期间，电竞世界杯的全球线上观看人次突破7.5 亿，较去年提升50%。本次竞赛和盛会还吸引了300万访客来到利雅得Boulevard City，超过去年夏天的260万人。
在中沙建交35周年的背景下，2025电竞世界杯期间，腾讯电竞联合 EWCF在北京与沙特利雅得两地分别举办了“中沙电竞文旅嘉年华”电竞文化活动，以电竞为媒介，为两地年轻人搭建交流的桥梁。
