The Hunan delegation attending the third session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) held group discussions in Beijing on March 9, 2025. The deputies deliberated a draft decision on amending the Law on Deputies to the National People's Congress and to the Local People's Congresses at Various Levels, a work report of the Supreme People's Court (SPC), and a work report of the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP).Shen Xiaoming, head of the Hunan delegation, and Mao Weiming, deputy head of the delegation, joined the deliberations with deputies.

According to the arrangements of the national annual "Two Sessions", Li Yong, vice president of SPC and presiding justice of the Second Circuit Court of the SPC, and comrades from the SPP and the Session Secretariat, attended.
