2024年以来，广东不断在产业和场景招商上发力，如省发展改革委发布的清单中有51个纳入应用场景机会项目，涉及投资额约30亿元，超75%拟基于人工智能技术建设。广州推行“市场+资源+应用场景”新模式，发布165个应用场景和案例，涵盖低空经济、人工智能、生物医药等领域。各地市也走出“给市场”“给机会”的招商引资新路子，像湛江以双龙头招引石化企业，形成上下游一体化产业体系；珠海依托“航展之城”拓展低空经济场景招商。

营商环境优化下，广东招商引资成果显著。截至2024年底，全省登记在册外商投资企业21.51万户，同比增长8.04%，大湾区成为外资投资优选地。
