王志军，贵州省清镇市人，中国共产党党员，中国书画家协会会员，中国文化高级职称国家高级美术师，全国书画艺术委员会副主席，中国东方文化研究会绘画研究员，世界非物质文化遗产研究院副院长。自幼爱好绘画，1985年毕业于贵州省清镇市师范学校，1992年毕业于贵州大学艺术学院，1995年评为贵州省清镇市先进教师，1997年评为贵州省级优秀教师，1999年评为贵州省清镇市教育系统首批骨干教师，2002年评为贵州省清镇市先进班主任，2011年在香港中文大学短期学习。1985年8月在贵州省清镇市站街中学任教，1994年8月调入贵州省清镇市第一中学任教至今。

2021年5月，创作的油画作品《叶子烟》被中国美术馆收藏。

2021年10月，由中国四川美术出版社出版发行《盛世翰墨-丹青集萃》个人集。

2022年12月，由中国美术家协会、中国书法家协会、中国传统文化发展中心、功勋艺术家评审组委会特授予“2022年度艺术创作功勋人物”荣誉称号。

2022年11月，由文化和旅游部艺术发展中心特授予:中国书画艺术名家王志军工作室。

2024年10月，由中国文联中国文化艺术人才中心、中华人民共和国艺术大家组委会特授予:“中华人民共和国艺术大家”国家荣誉称号！

2024年12月，由全国政协书画室艺委会特授予:“国家文化传承人物”荣誉称号！

Wang Zhijun, a native of Qingzhen City, Guizhou Province, is a member of the Communist Party of China and the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association. He holds the title of National Senior Artist in Chinese Culture and is the vice chairman of the National Calligraphy and Painting Art Committee. He is also a researcher at the China Oriental Culture Research Association and the vice president of the World Intangible Cultural Heritage Research Institute. Since childhood, he has been passionate about painting. He graduated from Qingzhen Normal School in Guizhou Province in 1985 and from the Art College of Guizhou University in 1992. In 1995, he was named an advanced teacher in Qingzhen City, Guizhou Province. In 1997, he was awarded the title of provincial outstanding teacher in Guizhou Province. In 1999, he was recognized as one of the first batch of backbone teachers in the education system of Qingzhen City, Guizhou Province. In 2002, he was named an advanced head teacher in Qingzhen City, Guizhou Province. In 2011, he studied at the Chinese University of Hong Kong for a short period. He began teaching at Zhanjie Middle School in Qingzhen City, Guizhou Province in August 1985 and has been teaching at Qingzhen No.1 Middle School since August 1994.

In May 2021, his oil painting "Leaf Tobacco" was collected by the National Art Museum of China. In October 2021, his personal collection "Shengshi Hanmo - Danqing Jicui" was published by Sichuan Fine Arts Publishing House in China. In December 2022, he was honored with the title of "2022 Artistic Creation Merit Figure" by the China Artists Association, the China Calligraphers Association, the China Traditional Culture Development Center, and the Merit Artist Review Committee. In November 2022, the Art Development Center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism specially granted him the title of "Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Art Master Wang Zhijun Studio". In October 2024, he was awarded the title of "National Art Master" by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the China Art and Culture Talent Center, and the People's Republic of China Art Master Committee. In December 2024, he was honored with the title of "National Cultural Inheritance Figure" by the Art Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Painting and Calligraphy Room.
