Recently, Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport in Guizhou Province completed a major renovation of the T3 terminal’s international arrivals area, introducing a new "Foreign Guest Service Center." This initiative aims to meet the basic needs of foreign visitors upon arrival, providing a one-stop solution for food, accommodation, transportation, and more.

According to Ma Nina, an operations supervisor from the Airport’s Terminal Area Management Department, the Foreign Guest Service Center is equipped with consultation counters offering services such as travel advice, communication services, transportation transfers, and currency exchange. The area is clearly marked with prominent signage and includes ATM machines, display screens, and other facilities to assist travelers with business and information needs. Relevant services, such as currency exchange, car rentals, and transportation transfers, will also be available for international passengers.

In addition, to optimize entry procedures for foreign travelers and enhance their airport experience, Guiyang Airport has introduced bilingual (Chinese and English) announcements in the terminal. Bilingual signage is also displayed throughout the terminal to help guide international passengers.

Ma Nina further noted that the airport has upgraded the terminal’s commonly used keyboards to those capable of passport recognition and has deployed staff proficient in English to assist international passengers with the check-in process. International travelers will also have access to a range of services, including foreign currency exchange, car rental, ride-hailing, and one-stop transportation transfers via the airport, high-speed rail, subway, and bus systems, making travel more convenient. Notably, to further enhance payment convenience for foreign visitors, nearly all commercial outlets in the terminal now accept major international credit and debit cards such as Visa and MasterCard, allowing for easy and efficient dining and shopping experiences.
马尼娜还指出，机场已经将航站楼常用的键盘升级为能够识别护照的设备，并部署了精通英语的工作人员，以协助国际旅客办理登机手续。国际旅客还可以通过机场、高铁、地铁和公交系统，享受外币兑换、租车、网约车和一站式交通换乘等一系列服务，使旅行更加便捷。值得注意的是，为了进一步提升外国游客的支付便利性，航站楼内几乎所有的商业网点现在都接受Visa和MasterCard等主要国际信用卡，方便旅客轻松高效地用餐和购物。
