Release and International Symposium on
"Global Governance and Leadership Talent Development for 2050"
On November 4, 2024, Renmin University of China (RUC) announced the establishment of the nation's first School of Global Leadership. The school is committed to “global engagement”, “first-class” and “future-oriented”, driven by the strategic needs of China. It aims to cultivate high-caliber talents both domestically and internationally, develop innovative opening-up mechanisms for high-level education, actively foster future-oriented global leaders, build a world-class leadership development center, and establish a high-end international cooperation platform for global governance, thus contributing new strategies for the comprehensive development of humanity and society. On this background, Renmin University of China will host the inaugural Global Leadership Forum on May 22, 2025, to release relevant research reports and books, and invite distinguished guests from China and abroad to jointly explore how to cultivate more future-oriented global leaders who can meet the needs of the times for both world and China in the digital and AI era. 中国人民大学重阳金融研究院（人大重阳）成立于2013年1月19日，是重阳投资向中国人民大学捐赠并设立教育基金运营的主要资助项目。
作为中国特色新型智库，人大重阳聘请了全球数十位前政要、银行家、知名学者为高级研究员，旨在关注现实、建言国家、服务人民。目前，人大重阳下设7个部门、运营管理4个中心(生态金融研究中心、全球治理研究中心、中美人文交流研究中心、中俄人文交流研究中心)。近年来，人大重阳在金融发展、全球治理、大国关系、宏观政策等研究领域在国内外均具有较高认可度。
